bootsNamed in honor of Mark Twain’s memorable character Huck Finn, the Huckleberry Fund supports the mission of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. For almost forty years, the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine has reached out to meet the needs of the most medically and psychosocially vulnerable youth in the LA area. Like Huck Finn, many of the youth we serve embody Huck’s resiliency and strength to rise above the circumstances to which they were born.

The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine provides care to over 7000 youth every year including those who are homeless, in foster care, at-risk for and infected with HIV, pregnant or parenting, transgender, substance using, and at risk of gang involvement.

Today, your generous contribution to the Huck Fund is more important than ever. With your help, we can ensure that young people receive the support they need to reach their full potential.

Thank you for your caring and support
